WMR's MT Hood Summer Camp -- June 24-July 4, 2018

WMR’s Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camp is OPEN to all athletes U12 and over! Space is limited so please rsvp soon. Please email sara@westmtn.net if your athlete will be joining us this summer.
Campers Arrive Sunday June 24th.
Ski: Mon-Fri. 25th-29th
Day Off: Sat 30th
Ski: Sun-Tue 1st-3rd
Return: Wed 4th
We are offering more days of training this summer, so the price for WMR members will be $1999 and will include lodging, food and ground transportation in Oregon. This price does not include airfare or transportation to and from Albany airport. Price for non-WMR athletes is $2,199, We stay in Government Camp and rent condos for the kids, and chaperones. This camp is fully chaperoned and offers post training fun events, healthy meals and memories of a lifetime!

Fall Camp -- Open Copper Mountain, Colorado-- November 17th-November 24th, 2018

  • WMR is pleased to announce we will be holding its annual WMR Fall Ski Camp at Copper Mountain in Colorado in November during the Thanksgiving Break week.  Fall camps are another key component to successful ski racing and the earlier your child trains on snow, the more competitive they will be at the start of the race season.

Who can participate? This camp is open to U12-U19 athletes.

Who is leading the camp? WMR coaches and staff. Coaching support will be based on numbers.

What are the dates? Saturday, November 17-Saturday, November 24th

When will they travel? Athletes will need to fly in to DIA on the 17th and return to Albany on the evening of the 24th. We will send out more details about transportation soon. 

What is the cost? $1800/WMR athlete, $2000/Non-WMR. 1st Deposit of $900/WMR, $1000/Non-WMR due by August 1 and final payment due by Oct. 1. You will also have the option to pay in full.

What do the fees cover? Lodging at Copper, coaching, lane space (atleast 5 days of on-snow training), chaperoned afternoon activities, and food (three healthy meals a day). Transportation to/from Albany Airport and to/from DIA as well as air transportation is not included.  

For those athletes traveling and staying with their parents the cost is $200/day and includes coaching and lane space.

Athletes will need to bring spending money for snacks, souvenirs, etc.:)

We will send out a detailed menu, packing list, and activity schedule once we have the camp details confirmed.
